Illuminations in Vannes
From 1 December 2024 to 5 January 2025the Christmas lights in Vannes from Tuesday to Sunday, 5.30pm to 10pm. Enter the party magic in Morbihan. Take a stroll through the cobbled streets of the medieval city, look up and admire the Christmas decorations in Vannes !
The Ferris Wheel
From 30th November 2024 until Sunday 12 January 2025 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.A great experience awaits you at the Port of Vannes: the Ferris Wheel. An exceptional view of the city of Vannes with its festive illuminations is offered to you from the Ferris Wheel, which will be located on the port esplanade. Prices: Children: €5 / Adults: €6
Father Christmas arrives in Vannes
Santa and his elf stroll through Vannes town centre and meet up with him Place Brûlée d1 to 24 December every Wednesday and weekend from 4pm to 8pm (until 6pm on 24 December).
The long-awaited Father Christmas will disembark at Vannes harbour on 22 December at 3.30pm. He will then stroll through the streets of the city centre, making a number of stops. (We've been told that Santa will certainly be handing out sweets to the children!) There will also be plenty of entertainment surrounding the event.

Le Vannes Christmas market will take place from 30 November to 31 December 2024. You can also find Christmas markets near Vannesin Auray or Crac'h.
Santa's letterbox in Vannes and drawing competition
From 1st to 24th DecemberChildren will be able to drop off their lists of presents to Father Christmas in letterboxes located at Monoprix, Les Halles des Lices, Saint-Patern (Carré Blanc) and rue Hoche (Cavavin).
Illuminations in Rochefort-en-Terre
Rochefort-en-Terre's famous illuminations are not to be missed near Vannes! This Petite Cité de Caractère lights up at dusk. every eveningA magical stroll from 5.30 p.m. that's sure to delight young and old alike.

Various events in Vannes for Christmas 2024
- Father Christmas Village: by the Comité des Fêtes de Vannes, salle Richemont. This event takes place on 21 and 22 December 2024
- Christmas concert in Vannes: Come and celebrate Christmas on 15 December with Nova Voce! An a capella concert led by Malgorzata Pleyber, combining European Christmas carols with classical and contemporary compositions. A magical moment, performed by experienced amateur singers.
