Thanks to its rich, oxygenated waters and the expertise of local oyster farmers, oysters from the Morbihan Gulf guarantee an incomparable flavour.

It takes time to produce a beautiful oyster! The larvae or "nessains" attach themselves to tubes to form their salt and calcium shells. Once solid, they are transported to an oyster bed, where they are carefully cultivated at the rhythm of the tides for 3 years.

If you would like to discover the oyster beds and other maritime activities, the "the sea cultivates itself, the sea cultivates us" operation runs from April to September, 50 original animations with visits to oyster farms, tours of fishing ports and cookery workshops...

You can enjoy good oysters from the Gulf of Morbihan in the restaurant Côté Patio from your Best Bestern Plus hotel in Vannes Centre.

Enjoy your meal!
