1387 - The meeting of John IV and Olivier De Clisson in Vannes
On 13 and 14 July 2022, the city will be alive with entertainment. For the 36th edition of the Fêtes Historiques de Vannes, various festivities will be on offer to share this moment together.
Parades, entertainment and fireworks will enliven these two days of merriment. This year it's the 14th century, and you can relive the meeting between Jean IV and Olivier de Clisson. A spirit of celebration and conviviality reigns over the town, with processions, street theatre and music offering magical, humorous and sometimes moving moments for all Vannetais and holidaymakers alike.
It's a great way to spend time with family and friends.
Programming :
Each afternoon, from 2.30pm to 8pm, the streets of Vannes will be alive with entertainment.
Parades will also be held over the two days from 4.30pm to 5pm and 10.30pm.
Finally, to round off this grand celebration, a fireworks display for all ages will be staged in the Remparts Gardens from 11.30pm onwards.
